Farewell Soldiers!

As you may have guessed from the title, I will be stepping down from my position as Community Manager and leaving Offworld Industries this week but I wanted to post a quick message to the community before I finish.

After nearly three years of working with the team on Beyond The Wire I am leaving with a heavy heart. My time on Beyond The Wire has been an amazing experience and I’ve been privileged to have been able to share this project and the work being done with you all. While my position isn’t being filled straight away the Customer Experience team at Offworld Industries along with the Development team will be taking over the reins until the new CM has been recruited.

From early prototype testing through Closed Alpha to Early Access launch, the community here has consistently set the standards for being welcoming and friendly and I feel proud to have been part of that foundation. As development marches on to the anticipated full release, I leave with one request that this atmosphere is fostered and continues to be a benchmark for how people are treated within the gaming world.

I hope you are enjoying the latest update for the game and I’m looking forward to seeing the development team’s plans come to fruition, I know there’s a lot to look forward to!
